Last two weeks in Dinokeng have been great.
We have had a couple small showers here and the birding in Dinokeng has been great. Some great sightings of red chested and black cuckoo as well the first wattled starlings of the season.
Very happy to report that one of the mongena lioness has given birth to 4 cubs. Fingers crossed that these little ones survive to become adults. She is a good huntress and as she is part of the dominant pride things do look good for them. The two hyena pups are still doing well and a couple of 2am missions to the den have produced some great shots.
