It seems we missed out on spring this year. Temperatures have been high and as a result the water points have been producing good sightings.
Lion have been moving erratically and mostly short distances but we have still managed some decent sightings. The brown hyena pup is still doing well and we managed to locate the main den as they usually use satellite dens for the pups. Summer birds have started arriving including Klaas’s cuckoo earliest I have seen them in this area in years.
