It has been a great month for game viewing in dinokeng game reserve. The elephant have been all over the place gorging themselves on marulas in particular. Lion movements have been fairly static but we have had some great sighting including the highlight of the year so far our first sighting of the 3 eastern prides cubs. The two brown hyena pups are still doing well and producing good viewing including one of the adults brining half a common duiker to the den. On the bird front we have had some great sightings of marshall eagle, our lesser striped swallow chicks have finally fledged and a first for us in the reserve some banded martin.
